Meetings on the Status and Future of Global Geoscience Information Standards（CGI与IUGS深时数字地球项目联合主办）将于2023年11月7日至10日在昆山鑫欣科创综合体举办，主题为“全球地球科学状况和未来信息标准”。    深时数字地球(DDE)是国际地质科学联合会(IUGS)支持的一个大型科学计划。DDE旨在利用大数据分析、互联网云计算、数据挖掘、机器学习和人工智能，促进对地球演变和应用以及可持续发展目标的理解的创新。DDE计划的主要目标是协调深时数字地质数据，而实施地质科学信息标准是实现这一目标的关键因素。CGI在为IUGS和更广泛的地质科学应用预测、开发和推广地质科学信息标准方面发挥着重要作用。    会议包含两个议题：11月7日至8日-深时数字地球（DDE）地球科学信息标准研讨会（公开报名）；11月9日至10日-未来地球科学信息标准论坛（仅限邀请）。

Meetings on the Status and Future of Global Geoscience Information Standards CGI in partnership with IUGS’s Deep-time Digital Earth Project are hosting inperson meetings in Suzhou,China, 7-10 November 2023, on the Status and Future of Global Geoscience Information Standards.DDE aims to facilitate innovation in understanding the Earth’s evolution and applications as well as the Sustainable Development Goals utilizing Big Data analytics, internet cloud computing, data mining, machine learning and AI. The primary goal of the DDE programme is to harmonize deep-time digital geological data and implementation of geoscience information standards is a critical component to achieving this.CGI has an important role in anticipating, developing and promoting geoscience information standards for IUGS and wider geoscience applications.There are two meetings, described in more detailed below:7-8 November-Geoscience Information Standards for DDE Workshop9-10 November-Future Geoscience Information Standards Forum(invitation only)

01深时数字地球（DDE）地球科学信息标准研讨会2023年11月7-8日

本次研讨会将评估DDE科学工作组中地球科学信息标准实施的现状，确定标准可以促进信息交换的领域，并制定实现良好标准所需的步骤。目标是优化地球科学标准的协调和规划，以支持DDE的成功，从而加速研究并提供支持，以管理地球资源并应对气候变化挑战。
Geoscience information standards for DDE Workshop7-8 November 2023
This workshop will evaluate the current status of geoscience information standards implementation in the DDE science working groups, identify areas where standards could facilitate information exchange and map out the steps needed to achieve good standards implementation. Our objective will be to optimize coordination and planning of geoscience standards, to support the success of DDE to enable acceleration of research and provision of benefits to support science to manage earth resources and address challenges of climate change.

02未来地球科学信息标准论坛2023年11月9-10日

未来地球科学信息标准论坛是CGI利用深时数字地球（DDE）重大科学计划相邻的地球科学标准实施研讨会的机会。该论坛旨在简要回顾过去，评估现状，并展望未来的地球科学信息标准。论坛将邀请一小部分专家，遵循灵活和轻度结构的议程，有充足的时间进行讨论和集思广益。论坛将围绕地球科学信息标准的进一步发展所需的地球科学信息标准得出目标明确、方向明确的结论。
Future Geoscience Information Standards Forum9-10 November 2023

The Future Geoscience Information Standards Forum is an opportunity afforded to CGI to capitalize on an adjacent workshop of geoscience standards implementation for the DDE major science programme. The Forum aims to briefly look to the past, assess the present and look forward to the future regarding geoscience information standards. With a small group of invited experts, the Forum will follow a flexible and lightly structured agenda with plenty of time for discussion and brain-storming. The Forum aims to conclude with a sense of purpose and direction around further development of geoscience information standards that are needed.
